SnapKit generates pixel-perfect social media screenshot mockups from structured JSON via a REST API or MCP server. Supported platforms include ChatGPT, Twitter/X, Instagram, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Common use cases are ad creatives, content marketing, social proof visuals, and AI agent pipelines.

SnapKit renders typically complete in 1–3 seconds depending on scene complexity and output resolution. The API returns a JSON response with a presigned URL to the PNG as soon as the render finishes. No polling or webhooks are required for standard renders.

SnapKit renders are synchronous by default — the API returns the image URL in the response body once rendering is complete. There is no need to poll a job status endpoint. For large batches, requests can be parallelized to render multiple images concurrently.

SnapKit plans can be changed from the dashboard billing page at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period. No manual migration or support ticket is needed to switch plans.

SnapKit subscriptions can be canceled from the dashboard billing page with one click. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and full access continues until that date. No prorated refunds are issued for mid-cycle cancellations.

SnapKit access continues until the end of the paid billing period after cancellation. After that date, the account reverts to the public playground experience — watermarked output at a fixed resolution, the same as the free demo. Existing rendered images remain accessible at their presigned URLs until those URLs expire.

SnapKit retries failed payments automatically over several days before marking the subscription as past due. During the retry window, API access continues without interruption. If all retries fail, the account reverts to the free demo — watermarked output at a fixed resolution — until payment is resolved.

SnapKit currently bills monthly only — annual billing is not yet available. When annual plans launch, existing monthly subscribers will be able to switch and receive a discount. No long-term commitment is required on the monthly plan.

SnapKit rejects renders beyond the monthly quota with a clear error code and no overage charges. The quota resets automatically at the start of each billing month. Upgrading or contacting support is required for higher limits — there is no automatic billing increase.

Only successful render requests that produce a PNG image count against the monthly quota. Failed renders, validation errors, and authentication failures do not consume renders. Requests to non-render endpoints like status checks or template listings are free and unlimited.

Render usage depends on the workflow — a typical marketing team generating ad variations uses 200–500 renders per month, while an automated pipeline or AI agent may use several thousand. The free trial includes 100 renders to help estimate production needs before committing to the Starter plan.

Each SnapKit render on the Starter plan costs $0.0058 — that is 5,000 renders for $29 per month. The free demo is rate-limited and the 7-day trial includes 100 renders — neither has a per-render fee. There are no hidden charges, overage fees, or per-pixel pricing.

The free SnapKit playground demo adds a watermark to all output images and renders at a fixed resolution. The 7-day API trial and the Starter plan both produce clean, watermark-free images at any resolution you specify.
